This mount was originally made for the Discovery Channel for the top fin of a shark, but it could be use for something else. You can very quickly attach and detach in a fraction of a second if needed. It works similar to a vice grip, except there is no adjustment nob. Whatever you squeeze this onto, it will stay locked tight until a lever is pushed.

The paddles are covered with non-stick material (looks like painted sandpaper) for maximum grip. This mount is very front heavy, so you must have a very strong hold on the subject and the subject must be stable or else the mount may rotate off. Can be used vertically or horizontally. Could be used with other lightweight cameras. The paddle surface wil not work on glass or fiberglass or any other hard surface, so we've included some rubber inserts to put on the inside of the paddles if needed.
